The tension has risen to amazing new heights, and not the tension you feel when you recognize that dreaded ex boyfriend that you have not seen for years. NO! A good tension and maybe there is no such thing but for me "Oh" it is. The delightful tension when you curl your toes because you are excited, or when you are on your way to pick up a cute puppy out of a litter. A tension of amazement, a tension to have a "Midnight in Paris." What can I say? I am a journalist, will be a traveler, and forever a dreamer.
It is a place to get lost (sort of speak) and tomorrow I will be hopping a board a long flight. A great flight that will help me on my french, read a little book, maybe watch the movie "Midnight in Paris" (again), and of course take a power nap.
*Side Note: I am sending out a prayer request in the middle of this message because I hope that one group member makes it on this adventure. She has misplaced her passport, arrives at LAX at 3:45, still has to pick up luggage to make it to our gate in time for 5:55 Departure. We would have to leave if she does not make it in time. =[ God Hear Our Prayers!
Power of Prayer
Speaking of prayer, and this is important because God has got me where I am. I thank him for everything and give glory to him. At first, I was not sure about asking to go to Europe because my wonderful parents are already helping me through school and I did not want to be selfish. I took a moment and asked God for his guidance and he was tugging on my heart to go. It seems silly, but it is true and once you believe with your heart, then you will see his full power.
I hope to take full advantage of this trip and what it has to offer. I thank God of course, but also all of my family that helped to make this trip possible. Everyone has contributed by either money or prayers. I appreciate any contribution and Love you all.
Hello for now, but next time it will be Bonjour.
P.S. XOXO... See this movie, trust me (you will love it).
Yes she made it =], and I'm doing okay. Blog update to follow.
